High BankerThe High Banker gold recovery sluice system. A handy device to mine gold when the water supply is a little ways off. Obviously designed for working high banks along side of a river or stream. The main advantage is allowing you to work old river channels which are now high and dry. I have used a high banker to pull gold off clay seams (false bedrock) up off a river about 20 feet. This clay area was quite rich with large flake gold but nothing bigger. Still, I recovered about 1/4 ounce in one afternoon. Came home looking like a pottery figurine (it was raining and the clay was sticky). Had a shower and spotted several flakes in the bottom of the tub. The High Banker is a must have sluice system for working anything away from the stream or waterway. Beats the bucket system!
